Using QA Distiller
How to use QA Distiller to check for mistakes in bilingual files.
- Loading files
  You can load files in several different ways.

  Take the following steps if the language codes do not correspond to the actual source or target language of the files that have been loaded.
- Quick Correct menu
  You can use the Quick Correct menu to reduce the number of false error messages or correct multiple mistakes.
- Editing XLIFF files in Edit Mode
  You can edit both the source and target fields, provided they are not locked.
- Editing TMX files in Edit Mode
  You can edit both the source and target fields, provided they are not locked.
- Marking an error as fixed
- Discarding an error
  When an error does not refer to a genuine mistake and is, in fact, a false positive, you can discard it.
- Exporting forgotten translations
  If you want to translate forgotten translations separately, you can export them.

  You can save a report of all the errors that QA Distiller found in your files.

Correcting errors

You have loaded input files and you have processed the files.

Tip: You can reduce the number of false error messages or correct multiple mistakes at once by clicking the button in the Quick Correct pane.

In the error pane, double-click on the error that you want to correct.
- If you have double-clicked an error from a TMX or an XLIFF file, the file opens in Edit Mode and you are taken to the exact location of the mistake.
Correct the mistake and save.
Close the file.
