Could not find character set files

You get the following errors:
  • Could not find character set file whitespace.txt
  • Could not find character set file whitespace.EN-US.txt
  • Could not find character set file alpha EN-US.txt

Probably the path to the character set files is wrong or no longer valid.

  • Open QA Distiller and click File > Setup > General.
  • Verify the location of the character set files by browsing to them.
    • browse charsets location
    • The default location of the character set files is charsets, which points to C:\Program Files (x86)\Yamagata\QADistiller\charsets
    • This folder contains all the configuration files, like whitespace.txt, allowedskipped.txt, ...
