    The options in this tab are valid for all XLIFF documents, including memoQ, SDL and WorldServer files.

    The options in this tab are only valid for WorldServer XLIFF documents with the custom iws namespace.

- Correcting errors

  Take the following steps if the language codes do not correspond to the actual source or target language of the files that have been loaded.
- Quick Correct menu
  You can use the Quick Correct menu to reduce the number of false error messages or correct multiple mistakes.
- Editing XLIFF files in Edit Mode
  You can edit both the source and target fields, provided they are not locked.

XLIFF file settings

The XLIFF tab is located in Settings > File settings.

Via the General tab, QA Distiller provides full support for all standard XLIFF elements and attributes. SDL, memoQ and WorldServer XLIFF files all use custom namespaces with nonstandard elements or attributes. Support for these elements is covered in separate tabs. Every option can be mapped to certain translation units. An XPath expression to indicate which segments correspond to which option is used.
