Automated revision tools
ColourTagger
ColourTagger is a tool that marks translated text in STF files with various colours based on its origin. Previously translated segments taken from Trados XTranslate or a Trados translation memory are shown in the original FrameMaker document, which can be used for review. This reduces the time spent on revisions, because the proofreaders can skip the previously-validated coloured text. It also considerably increases the control over content changes in different document versions.
ColourProof
ColourProof is a tool that generates a colour-coded PDF for each newly translated document based on a comparison of the bilingual files with the translation memory. All of the text that has been changed or added by the translator is highlighted in the PDF, which shows the documents in the original layout. This allows the editor to focus exclusively on the new portions of the text while reviewing them in the final context.
