We implemented QA Distiller a year ago and since then we have intensively used it to check the quality of our translations and to improve translation quality
in all of our workflows and processes. QA Distiller has been a "revelation" to us in the sense that it is the first tool that really meets our needs when it
comes to translation quality assurance. Since we started using QA Distiller, we have seen a big change in how we and our translation office partner deal
with quality issues. Our translation office partner has been so impressed with the ease-of-use of QA Distiller, that they have also started using it.
QA Distiller offers a variety of checks that can be performed. Today, we mainly use the terminology, inconsistency and the omission checks. We now have less
errors, terminology problems and mistakes, combined with more accurate translations, translation memories and greatly enhanced workflow.
The support service provided to us by Yamagata for QA Distiller has also been excellent. They have provided a fast and reliable service with problems being
solved quickly and efficiently. For those who care about translation quality assurance, this is the way to go.
Thank you Yamagata for this great tool and the excellent support you have given us.

QA Distiller 6.0 has been deployed here and we appreciate a lot the TMX editor capability. We have been using it consistently
to assess and correct TMX files before importing them in our centralized Translation Memory. Since version 6.0, the TMX edition
capability has been of great help and we use it regularly: one of our main problems in the past was to be able to delete translation
units based on QA Distiller reporting. It is now very easy and effective to do this kind of operation with 6.0.

In the highly competitive market for language service providers, quality has finally begun to overshadow price as a selection criterion. Clients are beginning
to understand that translation is not a one-off expense, but rather a lasting investment that can provide considerable returns. For clients operating in a limited
domain, translation of core documentation results in translation memories that reduce the number of to-be-translated words for new projects by several orders of
magnitude. The high quality of legacy translations is essential if this investment is to be effectively leveraged. Unfortunately, an objective and inexpensive
means to measure translation quality has never been available. With QA Distiller, Yamagata Europe has provided the industry with an elegant solution.
Ben Hickman, Lowland Languages
For any translation, QA Distiller is a sort of detective. It that can spot those hard-to-find tiny mistakes that even an experienced translator
can miss, like consecutive spaces, mistakes in numbers, untranslated terms or terminology inconsistencies. In short: QA Distiller allows me to deliver
higher quality translations, saves me a lot of time and therefore reduces costs!
Annemie Van Thillo, Luz Inc., Localisation Project Manager
After trying and purchasing QA Distiller, it soon became the backbone of our quality assurance system. Although some of the features are
available in many well-known Translation Memory systems, QA Distiller provides all the functions in a single highly configurable environment.
QA Distiller is also able to check exported translation memories in TMX format, enabling us to process translations that are originated from
virtually any translation environment. It simply works with all our systems, not only Trados, and provides a convenient and quick way of
creating QA reports. I love it! And I hate it for pointing out all those silly errors in our translations.
László Kovács, Chief Operating Officer, TEK Localizations
I don't want to spend one day without, it has already proven essential for my work. I would like to purchase it before the trial license expires, so that
I don't run the risk to deliver a job without the possibility to scan it with QA Distiller. I am so pleased I discovered your software I believe I can secure
a few clients with it!!
Gaia Morandi, freelance translator
Spotting mistakes is one thing, but the best part in QA Distiller is the way it lets you correct them. It could not be easier. You just double-click
on the mistake, and find yourself in Trados TagEditor, right in the segment where the mistake lies. With its host of customizable options, QA Distiller
is a really useful, efficient and reliable tool that soon becomes indispensable to deliver a top-notch job. This is a five-star add-on that I would
strongly recommend to anyone using TagEditor.
