Loading a dictionary

Before you can perform a terminology check, a dictionary needs to be loaded into QA Distiller.

The easiest way to do this is to drag and drop the dictionary file in the loaded file window.

Alternatively, you can also add a dictionary via Settings > Dictionary settings > Dictionary (or press F8).

The window with the active dictionaries will open. Go to File > Add dictionary to browse for a dictionary file.

After you have opened the dictionary file of your choice, the list of terms is displayed in this window. If you open more than one dictionary file, you will have to click on View/Load dictionary in order to see the content of the selected dictionary.

Reload all will display the terminology in all active dictionaries at the same time.

To remove a dictionary, simply click Remove dictionary.

Click Close window to return to the main interface.
